Juan to be smart and dumb at the same time

I love listening to radio. Even when I was a kid I grew up listening to Ernie Baron's Knowledge Power (Rest in Peace). Back then The only music I was listening to were the classic songs Ka Ernie played during his show. When I reached High school I started listening to 97.1 back then it was called Campus Radio (EFF YOU Mike Enriquez!). During those days of yore I was introduced to Parokya ni Edgar, John Mayer, BSB, etc. but what I enjoyed most about that radio station was the witty banter of the DJ's with his/her partner or his monologue to his listeners.

Fast forward to 2nd year college... During this time Acoustic was in it was the time of Paolo Santos and the like. During this time my Tita told me about a radio station that played this kind of music. From that time I started to listen to Jam 88.3 and Campus.

Time passed. Campus disappeared from air. Came back again briefly on 99.5 then disappeared again. Then came the 3 boys of Magic.

BNO (Boys Night Out) changed my listening habit because it injected sexually tinged, semi-wholesome, fully immature banter between the three DJ's. Slick Rick, Toni Toni, and SamYG. Their kind of humor had me listening for more than 3 years now. But recently I felt that me and the boy's humor was starting to not connect anymore. I felt that while I was growing up (I'm at my mid 20's so don't tell me I'm old) the boys were stuck with their on-air personas. I was shocked to say that I have matured. I needed a new radio show to relate to. A radio show that reflected my more opinionated view of the world with my still ever present juvenile side. This was the time I reunited with King DJ Logan. I heard about this legendary radio personality from my friend who told me that he was the creator of BNO but was unceremoniously booted out of the radio industry. Well he was back and with a show that reflected his view of the world.

The Disenchanted Kingdom was his new show. What a name! It fit perfectly with what I was feeling at that time. The shows humor was smart and idiotic at the same time. It was opinionated about current issues but at the same time pokes fun at the most mundane things even themselves and their station. I have found my new night show. To show how stupid the show can get here's something KDL (King DJ Logan) that was playing at their show. WTF. as for the smart things you better tune in to find out. The Disenchanted Kingdom on 99.5 RT Mon- Fri 6-9PM. Enjoy your trip home.
